| Just a few notes about the goalie clinic that you an Al Blevins ran over the summer. Connor can't wait to go again!!! My son has never worked harder in any other camp and yet couldn't wait to wake up the next day to do it all over again. The coaching staff was nothing short of supurb! The individual instruction that was given to each of the goalies was unsurpassed by any goalie clinic that my son hasd ever gone to in the past. He is certainly a much improved goalie than the kid I dropped off on Monday! It's like you swapped out my son for someone that has been playing for years. The techniques that you taught him are something that he will use in every warm up he will do from here on out. Thanks again for your time and dedication to my son at this camp. I want to make sure I sign up early this year because I am sure that once goalie parents find out about this week of instruction, the class will be sold out fast! | Our first meeting with Dave was June of 2010, when we sent our 10 year old son to an Ohio State goalie camp, which Dave was hosting. He immediately caught the attention of our son, and we were very impressed with the direction, and coaching he gave to every child that was attending the camp. When we heard he would be coaching the Columbus Blue Jacket camp later in the summer, we immediately enrolled our son in this camp as well. Once again Dave continued to impress us with coaching style, and the effect had had on our son, and I feel every child that attended that camp. After camp was finished he had Dave instruct our son in private lessons, and we feel this was amazing opportunity for our son. Dave has helped our son start to develop his skills, as a goalie, and as an all around hockey player. Dave loves the game, and we can tell from the instruction given to our son, he loves passing his knowledge of the game onto the next generation. We are definitely looking forward to the 2011 summer camp schedule, and more private instruction time with Dave. |
